This report shares insights from a range of our health, wellbeing, and community services to provide an in-depth portrait of the work METRO’s staff and volunteers deliver. It focuses on four of the geographical areas where we work, and the impact we make as a charity. We want this report to show the spectrum of work the organisation provides.

Care and Loss: LGBTQ+ experiences in end-of-life care

METRO supported Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice to develop its practice around LGBTQ+ inclusion, providing sexual orientation and gender identity awareness training. As part of this project, we also created this short film on people’s lived experiences of palliative care.
