About this service

METRO Bridge runs every Tuesday for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, non-binary, queer and questioning young people in Croydon.

It's a safe space to meet other LGBTQ young people, get support and have fun. We usually have snacks and hang out together. Sometimes we talk about identity, relationships, and wellbeing. We have a Winter Ball in December, with dancing, pizza, and cake. We also go to events such as theatre trips, gallery visits, Croydon Pride, and UK Black Pride.

We provide one-to-one support and can refer people to other services within METRO, including LGBTQ Counselling, Transcend, a monthly group for transgender young people, and our chatroom for guys into guys.

COVID-19 UPDATE: This group is now meeting virtually via Zoom.

We look forward to resuming services fully once it is appropriate to do so.
