METRO provides counselling to LGBTQ+ adults as part of our commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and wellbeing. We’re looking for volunteer counsellors to offer short-term counselling within a 12-session framework, working with a diverse client group in a supportive, well-structured service. Volunteers commit to at least 18 months (a minimum of 42 weeks per year) and receive two hours of free monthly group supervision, a full induction, and access to free CPD opportunities.
This is a great opportunity to develop your practice, gain experience in LGBTQ+ affirmative counselling, and contribute to an established and inclusive community service.
Please note: given our client demographic and preferences, we are particularly looking for counsellors who identify as LGBTQ+.
