Volunteers

Volunteering

Give something back to the community, learn new skills and meet new people.

You can expect to be treated with fairness, reimbursed for expenses, receive training relevant to your role, get involved in organisational issues, and be provided with ongoing support and supervision.

We have over 30 years experience of working with volunteers – and we have a gold certificate for good practice in volunteer management from Volunteer Centre Lewisham.

We are committed to equal opportunities and particularly encourage applications from women, LGBT people, people living with HIV and people from black and minority ethnic communities.

Please send all applications to volunteering@metrocharity.org.uk.

For some opportunities, before you start volunteering with us, you will need to have a DBS check. Sometimes, depending on the opportunity this will need to be an enhanced check.
