METRO Charity has announced that it will close, with the organisation ceasing operations on 31 March 2026, following a prolonged period of financial pressure and an extensive review of its future sustainability.

METRO GAD was formerly known as Greenwich Association of Disabled People. METRO GAD provides advice and information, advocacy, and volunteering opportunities for disabled people who live, work or study in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We're a user-led organisation of disabled people in London.
