About this oral history
Marilyn was interviewed as part of the Our History project, which archived, recorded and preserved our LGBT heritage in 2019/20. Marilyn, a member of GLGC lesbian group in the mid-1980s, grew up in Abbey Wood. She also worked as a nurse in HIV prevention with Greenwich and Bexley Health Promotion in the 1990s. Marilyn was a METRO Board member 1998–1999. In this oral history clip Marilyn describes her first visit to the Greenwich Lesbian & Gay Centre in the 1980s.
