Marc Thompson

Marc was interviewed as part of the Our History project, which archived, recorded and preserved our LGBT heritage in 2019/20. Marc has been an activist since the late 1980s in HIV+ issues for BAME people as a worker/volunteer with Big Up, Positively UK, Terence Higgins Trust. He is the Founder of prepster.info and a METRO ally and collaborator. In this oral history clip Marc talks about the lack of HIV support services for Black gay men and HIV+ stigma in the late 1980s.
