I’ve been a METRO Trustee since April 2015 and Chair of the HR Sub-Committee over the past 18 months.
I believe that knowledge and skills garnered from a 27-year international management career with an entrepreneurial public service organisation (the British Council) can add value to METRO as it moves further into the Strategic Plan 2018-2023, with its greater focus on diversifying income streams. My working strengths are around business change, partnership working, strategy development and execution, business analysis and operational management.
I left the organisation last year to pursue my own projects and after six months break am now looking for new challenges.
On a personal level I like to sing (I’m a member of Lewisham Choral Society), take photographic portraits, wander around food markets, tend my tiny garden and visit galleries, museums and old buildings. In early 2018, I set up the Lewisham Neighbourhood Gay Men’s Group, which aims to tackle social isolation among men living and working in or close to the Borough of Lewisham, as well as support local businesses, events and causes.
