Pitstop PLUS

About this service

We run the Pitstop PLUS website, where you can order free STI kits, condoms and lube and find out about sexual health for gay and bisexual men and trans people.

You can order up to 20 condoms, lube and one home STI test kit every month. You can also find local clinics and get information about STIs, including symptoms, window periods for infection, prevention, testing, PrEP and PEP.

Please note that at times there may be delays due to Royal Mail strikes, or reduced capacity at the labs we use to test your samples.

Who can use this service?

You need to be a gay or bisexual man or trans person and live in Greenwich or Medway.

Find out more about your sexual health options or order your kit from the Pitstop PLUS website.

You'll receive your testing pack within 7 days. You'll need to do oral and rectal swabs, urine and blood samples and post them to us for free. We'll text or phone you with your results within 7 days after receiving your samples.

If you require a particular type of condom, please place your order and then email us at pitstopplus@metrocharity.org.uk to let us know.

Taking your blood test:
All our home testing kits come with an instruction booklet on taking your own samples. The video above may also help with those kits where a small blood sample is also required.

If you are phobic of needles or blood, please contact us at the Sexual Health Office, on 020 8305 5005, so we can help signpost you to a clinician to help you take a blood test.
