METRO GAVS Capacity Building and Infrastructure Support Service

Support for the Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector within the Royal Borough of Greenwich

About this service

METRO Greenwich Action for Voluntary Service (METRO GAVS) is the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Our mission is to provide a strategic leadership role in representing and building the capacity of the Voluntary, Community, and Faith Sector (VCFS) in the borough.

We support established groups and organisations around funding and fundraising, as well as policy and procedure development, governance and compliance, finance and accounting, and other operational functions. We can also support local communities in setting up and establishing new VCFS groups and organisations. This support is provided either face-to-face or virtually.
