It was Volunteers Week 1st-7th June, so we took the opportunity to celebrate the work of our amazing METRO volunteers. Our CEO Dr Greg Ussher is pictured above with Michelle Martin, CEO of Volunteer Centre Greeenwich (VCG), on their volunteering bus in General Gordon Square. We also saw our Julie Hedges get awarded for having completed more than 250 hours of volunteering at the Royal Borough of Greenwich Volunteer Recognition event, and our Daniel McCartney was also recognised for volunteering more than 100 hours.
Having worked with volunteers for more than 30 years, we value the enormous impact of this support and are always looking to welcome new people into our growing network. So, we created a selection of five new videos to spotlight the many talents of some of our current team and give you a sense of what it's like to volunteer with us.
