This weekend at Pride in London, a small group of anti-trans protesters managed to march in front of the parade for 47 minutes. They displayed hateful banners and handed out transphobic leaflets.
This is completely abhorrent and unacceptable.
Transphobia has no place at Pride.
We must work together to ensure that the efforts of so many volunteers and organisations working for diversity, equality and inclusion are not overshadowed by hate.
Trans rights are not up for debate.
