London City Airport Partnership

London City Airport is supporting METRO Charity's parade entry in the Pride in London parade on Saturday 7th July.

Dr Greg Ussher, METRO Charity CEO, said:

"So many of our service users simply adore being in the Pride in London parade, we are so grateful to London City Airport for their support - meaning a bigger, brighter and even more fabulous parade entry for the charity this year!

"As well as being thoroughly enjoyed by our service users, supporters and volunteers, the parade is a key opportunity for METRO to highlight our service offering across our five domains: Sexual & Reproductive Health, Community, Mental Health, Youth and HIV."

Ross Garrod, Corporate Affairs Executive for London City Airport, said:

“Pride in London is one of the biggest and brightest dates in the capital’s calendar, and London City Airport is proud to support METRO’s parade entry and the important charitable work they do for local communities, including their equality and diversity hub in Woolwich.

“With 4.5 million passengers per year and as a large private sector employer in East London, our participation in this year’s Pride is a chance to celebrate the diversity of our workforce and passengers, alongside METRO and the Royal Borough of Greenwich.”
