METRO & GMFA Seek Volunteers for Men's Health Photoshoot

METRO Charity and GMFA are working with Public Health England (PHE) on a new national framework to improve the health and wellbeing of gay and bisexual men and other men who have sex with men (MSM).

The vision is for MSM to enjoy longer, healthier lives and to establish and sustain respectful and fulfilling social and sexual relationships.
The goals and objectives of the project are focused on addressing the inequalities in the healthcare system, addressing stigma, discrimination and poverty to ensure that all men have access to the right tools and knowledge to enable them to live a healthy life.

For the promotion of the framework we are asking men who have sex with men from all backgrounds, ages and ethnicities, including trans men and men with disabilities, to take part in a photography shoot:

Monday 2nd June @ METRO in Vauxhall - contact: patricia@metrocentreonline.org

Tuesday 3rd June @ GMFA in Old Street - contact michael.flaherty@gmfa.org.uk

The images will involve men taking part in a range of activities including some outdoor shots of people walking, running, eating, being social, as well as some more 'office based' shots.

We're looking for around 60 guys and a mix of individuals, couples, groups of friends and colleagues.

Each model will be paid £20 plus food and refreshments will be provided on the day of the photoshoots.

Please spread the word to your friends and networks!

You can comment on the final draft of the Strategic Framework to promote the health and wellbeing of gay men, bisexual men and other men who have sex with men (MSM). Deadline is Friday 6th June.
