The Metro Centre is now offering PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) every Saturday at the Pitstop+ Clinic for men who have sex with men.
You will receive a PEP starter kit, and continued care will be provided by the Trafalgar Clinic at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
"PEP is a course of anti HIV drugs. It can prevent you or your partner from getting HIV if you had unprotected sex or the condom failed. PEP is effective if accessed within 72 hours after exposure/ unsafe sex. There is no guarantee that it will work."
The Pitstop+ Clinic on Saturdays is open between 11am - 1pm. If you need PEP outside these hours please go to any A&E immediately. Do not delay!
