Kearsney Campsite in Dover was the setting for the first ever Kent held LGBTQ youth Summit. It was a beautiful sunny day in which seventy six young people from across East Kent and South London came together for a day of guest speakers, group work, advice & information and plenty of fun activities.
The day was a significant and powerful one for the young people, proving that the needs of young LGBTQ people in Kent are high, it proved that Kent still has a way to go to ensure that the young people's needs are met, more safe spaces are created and that services are accessible for those who feel isolated.
