METRO’s Bid Writer and Manager will play a pivotal role in leading on, and supporting, bid writing across the charity including input on bids to trusts and foundations and for competitive tenders for statutory funds. This post will be focused on trusts and foundations in collaboration with our Head of Insight. Bid writing input will encompass opportunities to develop and sustain our range of health and wellbeing services in:
- Sexual & Reproductive Health,
- Community,
- Mental Health & Wellbeing,
- Youth, and
- HIV.
Programme
During METRO’s 40th anniversary year in 2024 this temporary role will add vital capacity to the fundraising functions across our teams, including on developing content for our new digital fundraising campaigns.
The Fundraising Officer will also work closely with METRO’s Heads of service within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Salary and hours
Hours: 21 hours a week, Monday – Friday with some occasional evening and weekend working. This post would suit applicants looking for flexible, part-time work.
Salary: £34,000-34,999 pro rata full-time equivalent
