Who we are

Zoe Murray

she/her
London Sexual Health Services Manager
I am a public health professional passionate about sexual health and improving health inequalities. I initially trained as a registered nurse, working in medical research and acute healthcare. However, I quickly realised that community health and health promotion programs were by far the most effective and economic methods of improving long term health outcomes. With this in mind, I then studied a Master of Public Health specialising in Global Health and Sexual Health. Whilst completing this masters I studied Primary Care at the Comprehensive Primary Health Care Project in Jamkhed, India, which illustrated to me the benefit of grass roots health education programs for children and young people.
Since this time I have worked in a range of settings designing and delivering public health programs. I most commonly worked in culturally and linguistically diverse settings, working with newly arrived refugee and asylum seekers in Melbourne, people with multi-drug resistant tuberculosis in Somaliland, Aboriginal children and young people in remote parts of Australia and most recently working in Sexual Health with young people and vulnerable adults in the multi-cultural and vibrant borough of Redbridge in East London.
I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the Metro London Sexual Health team and to join in the fabulous work already being done so successfully by the team.
