Loic Marcon

Voice and Representation Manager

Loic is a public health professional with over six years of experience spanning a diverse range of health equity-related work. He has a varied background spanning homelessness outreach, partnership development, social impact technology, and health policy. In 2021, he graduated with a BA in Public Health – Global Health from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he led a departmental honours cohort. Participating in the cohort catalysed his passion for the community-oriented public health practice, health policy and economics, and education. Loic moved to London in 2023, pursuing an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing between the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

At METRO GAVS, Loic is the Voice and Representation Manager, working within the Capacity Building and Infrastructure Support Service. Through this role, he is working to mobilise the new Greenwich Community Accountancy Programme, representing and advocating for the Voluntary Sector within Greenwich-based boards, partnerships, and communities of practice, and ensuring that METRO GAVS is facilitating a vibrant and sustainable Voluntary Sector through its overall offer to groups and organisations within the borough. When he is not working at METRO GAVS, Loic is busy playing football for Stonewall FC, Europe’s leading LGBTQ+ football club.
