Dr Alessandro Ceccarelli

Alessandro leads the teams and the Heads of Domains that form METRO's services, including Mental Health, Youth and Community services; HIV prevention and support services for people living with HIV; and sexual and reproductive health. In his previous roles, Alessandro's leadership on the LGBTQ+ Action Plan for Wales and the HIV Action Plan for Wales helped shape services, policies, campaigns, and initiatives to support communities. Outside of METRO, Alessandro serves as a co-founder of the Fast-Track Cities initiative in Wales (Fast Track Cymru), and he’s a Trustee for the National AIDS Trust and the LGBT+ Consortium.
