NYC Launch

Youth groups from the four corners of England attended the launch of the National Youth Chances (NYC) Project in London on 28th June and helped make it a successful and inspirational event. Young people spoke of their experiences growing up LGBT in Yorkshire, Somerset, London and Manchester and despite coming from a variety of backgrounds and locations there were some common experiences, particularly around bullying and homophobia. These young people will take the message of NYC back home to ensure that the project reaches its goal of surveying 15,000 LGBT young people over the next year.
